From August 27th (Wednesday) until August 31st (Sunday), a Golden Route to West Japan booth will be set up at the Osaka/Kansai EXPO Exhibition Center WASSE. For the duration of this campaign, we will be introducing quick and easy model routes that can be taken from Osaka to the west of Japan/Kyushu, picture scrolls featuring these model routes on them, and other freebies and giveaways! With a charm and energy all its own—distinct from places like Tokyo or Kyoto—West Japan is an untapped treasure trove of sights and experiences. This is the perfect place to discover more.

- For those interested in a specific model route, we will be distributing picture scrolls featuring the route of choice (while supplies last).
- With its distinctly Japanese design, this will make for the perfect souvenir.
- Features plenty of useful information when travelling to West Japan while being visually appealing.
- Each location on the model route comes with an explanation of the area, as well as information on how to get there.
Travel desk
For those interested in taking a trip to West Japan, we will provide information on travel methods, as well as on how to make reservations for the numerous exciting activities on offer.
An ennichi festival event will be held at the pop-up stage!
There will even be a small festival held on the pop-up stage in the venue! Try your hand at senbonbiki (a kind of lottery involving special prizes) and shooting games to win prizes from various locations along West Japan’s Golden Route!

A Special Campaign – Travel West Japan with Picture Scroll in Hand!
By visiting locations featured on the model routes in the picture scroll from the event,travelers will receive special tickets to enter castles and hot springs along the route!
