The Golden Route to West Japan campaign opened on 1 July 2026 and runs through 31 March 2027. Buy the Sanyo-San’in Northern Kyushu Pass and receive discount coupons for the JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS (Southern Kyushu) and the JR SHIKOKU ALL PASS, plus benefits at participating facilities. It is run jointly by the West Golden Route Alliance, JR West, JR Kyushu, JR Shikoku and Klook.
HOW THE PASS SET WORKS
Start with the Sanyo-San’in Northern Kyushu Pass. The coupons let you add a second pass at a reduced rate: the JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS takes you into southern Kyushu, while the JR SHIKOKU ALL PASS opens up Shikoku.
