Illumination of Hope: The 30th Kobe Luminarie

The Kobe Luminarie is an illumination event held every winter since 1995, as a symbol of recovery and hope following the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the earthquake.
For ten days, the city of Kobe is enveloped in light, with a colorful array of majestic light art installations.
