Nagasaki City is a city of peace and prayer, where many people visit the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum as the last place to be exposed to the atomic bomb.The city is home to two World Heritages: the sites related to the Industrial Revolution, which includes Gunkanjima (Battleship Island) and Glover Garden, and the sites related to Christianity. This man-made island resembling a warship is located about 40 minutes by boat from Nagasaki Port. An on-land tour allows visitors to see the island, which once prospered from the coal industry. Designated as a World Cultural Heritage site.
